Hello, my name is Xander and I create work under the name Lady Inferno.

I center my work on the female form, drawing my main inspirations from the burlesque and fetish industries. I’m fascinated by the intersection of power, desire and performance in these industries. I am drawn to anything sensual, where glamour and intimacy can exist without the shame or stigma.

Burlesque works contribute heavily to how i draft up my compositions, posing and colour palettes, while the fetish industry allows me to explore the perspective of the person looking at the work. Who is watching? What are they getting from watching it?

My work aims to celebrate the act of deliberately causing a scene, being unapologetically yourself and showcasing one’s own self confidence, an ongoing exploration of femininity, power in both dominance and submission and play.
